I have a BA in English from Georgetown University, a teaching credential and MA in English from California State University, and I have recently completed my certification in Independent Educational Consulting from UC Irvine. For many years, I taught middle school and high school English in both California and Colorado. Three years ago, I began working with a Denver/Boulder-area nonprofit organization, helping to guide low-income, high-potential high school students through the college process and into their best-fit colleges. With my passion for college admission consulting sparked, I founded Laurel.
