I am a first generation college student who went from high school to a factory job for 18 months before enrolling at the local community college. The experiences of these early years created an unquenchable yearning in me "...to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life...." (Thoreau) Since those early days I have not stopped in this pursuit. I've earned my bachelor’s, masters, and doctoral degrees, I’ve set foot in all 50 U.S. states, been to over 60 countries on six continents, met and spoken with dozens of members of congress, two former Presidents, a Nobel Peace Prize recipient and I volunteered at Mother Teresa's Home for the Dying in Calcutta, India. I've also proudly served as a student affairs professional for over 30 years and been fortunate enough to help thousands of students achieve their educational goals. All of this has led to the creation of College Route Map. We work with students and their families to find and thrive at the college or university that is the best fit for them.

Additionally, we work with school districts to increase access to college and help their students achieve success in college.
