Katelyn Klapper is a Certified Educational Planner (CEP) with 35 years of experience working in higher education and college consulting. She is the founder of College Options, LLC, a small, team-based practice serving clients primarily in New England and in the Mountain West. The College Options model promotes a good fit formula that combines academic, social and affordability considerations in the college search and application process.

Katelyn has worked on the campuses of Boston University, Bentley College and WPI and has been an independent educational consultant since 2005. She is a distinguished instructor in the University of California, Irvine’s Certificate Program in Independent Educational Consulting, the immediate past-chair of the American Institute of Certified Educational Planners (AICEP), and a former board member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA). Katelyn is a frequent presenter at IECA, HECA, and NACAC conferences and is an active college affordability volunteer in her community.
