A career educator, Katie’s professional experience includes nearly 30 years as a teacher and college counselor. Having redesigned the college counseling model and program as the recent Director of College Counseling at Kent Denver School, a leading independent college preparatory school in Colorado, Katie honed her student-centered approach to counseling families through all aspects of the college search and application process. Combined with her years in college admission at a selective liberal arts college and a public flagship university, Katie has experience in college admission and high school counseling from both sides of the desk. She has worked with students from all backgrounds, with varied talents and interests, and with an array of college aspirations. 

Katie's many years of quality school-based experience guiding myriad students and families sets her apart. Her care, attention to detail, and knowledgeable guidance are recognized by students, parents, high school colleagues, and college admission representatives alike.
