Lauran is a distinguished-rated, former Denver Public School counselor (East High School) and enjoys helping a diverse range of students (e.g., athletes, first-generation students, students seeking merit aid, and transfer students) through the college admissions process. Lauran was a DIII swimmer and psychology major at Carleton College and then was an assistant coach for the Harvard Women’s Swim Team while obtaining her M.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in School Counseling.

Lauran founded Williamson College Prep in 2017 which runs out of the Park Hill neighborhood. Williamson College Prep supports students and their families as they research, apply, and select the best college fit. Lauran’s practice is best for families looking for an individualized college process. Lauran values the relationships she builds with her students and their families. When she isn’t studying up on colleges, Lauran enjoys skiing Steamboat, going to Orange Theory, and reading to her young daughters.
