Shelly Humbach became a Certified Educational Planner in 2015. The Certified Educational Planner (CEP) designation is a mark of distinction demonstrating expanded knowledge and commitment to the profession. It gives families the assurance they need that they are working with a qualified professional who is committed to maintaining the highest quality of service to students. Shelly founded Humbach Education Consulting, LLC. in 2011 and has worked with hundreds of families in the college search and application process. Using The College Success Strategy™ Shelly serves students throughout the United States and provides expert guidance with a dose of humor, using a customized plan of action based on individual needs and goals and with particular focus on return on investment. Each year Shelly travels extensively, visiting dozens of colleges and universities throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Shelly attends national conferences and stays current on all aspects of college planning and financial aid, via webinars, workshops and seminars.

Shelly enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters and doing anything outdoors: skiing, golf and hiking. She also enjoys reading, travel, cooking and all things at Red Rocks.
