Vivian is passionate about equity in education and believes that every family deserves access to the critical information that drives the college application, financial aid, and college admissions processes. She seeks to increase transparency for her students and their families, empowering them to make informed choices. Vivian supports each student in pursuing their own unique interests, passions, and goals, and in finding colleges that will best support those pursuits. In addition to her work as an independent educational consultant, Vivian has volunteered with College Track Denver, supporting first-generation, low-income students with college access.

Vivian holds a Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA, a Master’s Degree in Education from Stanford University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University. Vivian brings two decades of experience in public schools and districts to her work, including as a high school teacher, instructional coach, and curriculum coordinator. A lifelong learner, Vivian makes time to engage regularly in professional learning and to visit colleges in order to stay current.
