Hi! I’m Whitney Talmage, an Independent Educational Consultant and former high school counselor and English teacher. Born and raised in Alaska, my career in education has spanned over ten years and three states: Texas, California, and now Colorado. I have worked with thousands of students and families from a diverse array of backgrounds, helping them gain access to institutions nationwide.

My expertise in the college search and application process combined with my mental health background make me a well-rounded advocate and cheerleader for my students. Additionally, my background in English instruction and specialized training specifically in college application essays give me a unique lens and robust skill-set for coaching your student. I will help your student gain confidence as they dig deep into this process so that they can make decisions that are true to themselves and a meaningful investment of time and financial resources.
