New York Times best-selling author A. Manette Ansay enjoys helping high school students (and their families) through the college planning, essay writing, and application process. She loves getting writers “unstuck” on their essays and taking the stress out of the college application process. To that end,, she has partnered with multiple area libraries, including Boulder Main, Lafayette, Louisvile and Lyons to offer free recurring college planning and application/essay support. She also volunteers at Niwot High School, supporting the counseling stuff during crunch times. Manette is Professor Emerita at The University of Miami, where she directed the MFA program, taught courses in fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry, and advised and mentored undergraduate and graduate students.
