Jen has worked in education for over 25 years, from early childhood education to high school college counseling. Her role as a college counselor is part teacher, listener, researcher, project manager, and cheerleader. Jen makes it her job—her responsibility—to open my students’ minds and help them see what is possible for them to achieve and to become.

It is a true honor that she gets to work with high school students and their families as they navigate the college search and admissions process. Having helped her own children with the process, she recognizes how confusing it can be. College admissions is not one-dimensional and neither should a student's college application be. She works closely with her students to provide individualized service to ensure that each student feels supported!

In her spare time, Jen sits on several scholarship committees and volunteers at the Temple Grandin Equine Center at the Colorado State University campus, where gets to help with the equine assisted therapy for children with emotional and developmental needs. A proud parent of two young adult kids, Jen is also a Star Wars nerd, and a proud pet-mom to two Labradors!
