JoAllan is a Colorado native. She grew up in Aurora and now lives in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver. She attended Colorado State University and the University of Colorado Denver where she received a BA in Communication and a M.Ed. in Secondary English Curriculum and Instruction. She spent 20+ years as a teacher and a service learning coordinator before transitioning to college counseling.  

JoAllan was inspired to earn an Independent Educational Consultant certificate from the University of California, Irvine after volunteering with the Life After East program at East High School to assist students with post-secondary plans. She recently joined Antonoff Associates, Inc and is enjoying guiding families through the admissions process.
